Ömer Civelek

Ömer Civelek is a recent graduate with growth equity and venture capital experience spanning energy, climate technology, and financial services in both the U.S. and Turkish markets. Having lived and worked in Istanbul and New York, he brings a genuine cross-border perspective shaped by work in private wealth management, fixed income, and early-stage technology investing, with a particular focus on sourcing and evaluating opportunities in the energy transition. As a student in his senior year, he helped build dealflow for a family office - including a deal with Nobel Laureate Shuji Nakamura, inventor of the LED light - and helped guide the company to positive cash flow within its first seven months. Ömer graduated with Latin honors from Babson College, where he concentrated in Finance.
